This Privacy Policy explains how Pregnancy Care Baby Tracker ("the App", "we", "our") handles information when you use the App. We built this App to help you track your pregnancy — your privacy matters to us, and we've designed the App to keep your personal health information under your control.

In short: Your pregnancy details, weight logs, symptoms, diary entries, and personal notes are stored only on your device. We do not upload, sell, or share this information with anyone. The App displays ads through Google AdMob to support free use of the App — see Section 3 for what that involves.

We do not require you to create an account or provide an email address to use the core features of the App.

2. Push Notifications (Firebase Cloud Messaging)

We use Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM), a service provided by Google, to send you optional reminders and notifications (for example, medicine or checkup reminders). To enable this, your device is assigned an anonymous device token and subscribed to notification topics. This token does not include your name, health data, or any personal information you enter in the App.

Firebase Cloud Messaging is governed by Google's own privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy.

You can disable notifications at any time from your device's system settings.

3. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The App displays ads using Google AdMob to help keep the App free to use. To serve and measure ads, Google AdMob and its partners may automatically collect certain technical data from your device, such as:

Your Advertising ID (or a similar device identifier)
IP address and approximate (non-precise) location derived from it
Device information (model, OS version, language, screen size)
Ad interaction data (which ads were shown, clicked, or dismissed)

This data is collected and processed by Google, not by us, and is governed by:

Important: None of your pregnancy or health data (name, LMP date, weight, symptoms, diary entries, etc.) is ever shared with Google AdMob or any advertiser. Advertising data collection is limited to the general device/ad information listed above and is completely separate from your personal health information, which stays only on your device as described in Section 1.

Your choices: You can opt out of personalized ads at any time via:

Android Settings → Google → Ads → "Opt out of Ads Personalization", or
Google's Ads Settings page: https://adssettings.google.com/

Opting out means you may still see ads, but they will be less tailored to your interests.

4. Data We Do Not Collect

We do not collect or store your health data (weight, symptoms, diary entries, pregnancy info) on any server.
We do not sell your data to third parties.
We do not share your health information with advertisers, and it is never used for ad targeting.

5. Data Storage and Security

All personal and health-related information you enter is stored locally in the App's private storage on your device, using standard on-device storage mechanisms provided by the Android operating system. This data is not accessible to us, and we cannot view, recover, or transfer it.

If you uninstall the App, this locally stored data is permanently deleted from your device.

6. Data Export

The App allows you to export your data (for example, as a JSON file) so you can back it up or share it with your healthcare provider. This export is created and saved directly on your device or shared through apps you choose (e.g., email, messaging); we do not receive a copy.

7. Data Deletion Instructions

Pregnancy Care Baby Tracker stores all of your personal and health data locally on your device. You can delete this data at any time using either of the following methods:

Option 1 — In-App Deletion: Open the App → tap the menu icon (☰) → select "Delete All Data" → confirm. This immediately and permanently deletes all your pregnancy tracking data (name, LMP date, weight logs, diary entries, contraction history, and preferences) from your device.
Option 2 — Uninstall the App: Uninstalling the App from your device automatically and permanently deletes all locally stored data, with no retention period.

Because we do not store your health or personal data on any server, there is no separate server-side deletion request needed for this information. The data transmitted off your device is limited to: (a) an anonymous push-notification device token (see Section 2), and (b) advertising/device data collected by Google AdMob (see Section 3). Neither contains any personal or health information, and the notification token is automatically invalidated once the App is uninstalled or notifications are disabled in your device settings.

8. Children's Privacy

The App is intended for use by adults tracking their own pregnancy and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. Ads shown in the App are configured as not directed at children, in line with Google AdMob's policies.

9. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services, which may process limited technical data as described in their own privacy policies:

Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google) — push notifications
Google AdMob (Google) — in-app advertising

10. Your Choices

You can disable notifications in your device settings at any time.
You can opt out of personalized ads via your Android settings or Google's Ads Settings page (see Section 3).
You can delete all your data using the in-app "Delete All Data" option, or by uninstalling the App.
You can use the App without providing any personal information beyond what you choose to enter for tracking purposes.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
